The earliest an appointment can be booked depending on availability is a minimum of 48 hours for NHS sight tests. For a private sight test this can be even sooner.

The sight test usually would last upto 30 minutes. If glasses are required, then this can take around another 30 minutes. On average the appointment should last around an hour. However, these timings can vary in different circumstances.

We accept card, cash and cheques. Our team will have mobile card machines to accept card payments on the day. We would require a minimum of a 50% deposit in order to process the order.

How long will it take for the glasses to be delivered?

At Home Clinic Opticians we aim to be as efficient as possible and target a 1 week* turnaround time from the date of the sight test.

Can you test a person with communication difficulties?

We can test any person with any types of disability. Whether they can communicate or not. If a person can communicate but not verbally then we can use many different techniques including letter matching.
